I love this sequence as it is. Unfortunately when we introduced Thomas Banyacya's U.N. speech the structure had to change as we were merging the two. Some of what Ernie says remains in the finished film, but there's a power here that I lament having to have meddled with to make it work in the larger context of the film. Watch out for that line about the Twinkie!
